Hole Ladies Golf -- August 2008
The GM 9-Hole Women’s Golf group finished June with a Guys & Dolls event on June 19th. Peggy and Floyd Stone won the event. Betty and Harry Rakeshaw came in 2nd. Ten couples participated in the event which ended with a luncheon. As always the 9-Hole Group had a great time!!

Hole Ladies Golf -- July 2008
Kudos to Bobbie Denton and Barbara Clark who provided prizes, etc. Thanks to all who helped make it a fun day. Special congratulations to Betty Rakeshaw who shot a hole in one on #9 on May 23rd. On June 3rd the 9-hole group was off to Beaver Creek where JoAnn Russell won closest to the line, Barbara Clark won longest drive, and Betty Rakestraw was the medalist with Low Gross. On June 12th the 9-Hole group held their Flag Day Tournament.
******************************* The 9-Hole Lady Golfers held their HCP Tournament on
the 17th, using a Flag Tournament format for the event. The
winners were: Barbara Clark 3rd place, Catsue Pipkin
2nd place, Mary Gene Roberts, 1st place. GMCC 9-H Ladies hosted our Guest Day on Thursday, May
22nd. We had 40 golfers (10 from GM) for a
great day of golf and friendly competition for all the
local 9-Hole Women’s Golf member country clubs.
The 9-hole lady golfers had a fun day Thursday 28th as we enjoyed Guest Day with other area clubs. Our guests were from Beaver Brook, Fox Den and Oak Ridge. We had 42
ladies participating and received many compliments about
our club. They commented on the excellent condition of
the course, their enjoyment of play, the good
organization of the Pro Shop for our play, and their
enjoyment of the delicious buffet. Each club had winners for low gross, low net, low putts, and chip-ins. All clubs competed for longest drive and closest to the pin. The winners for Green Meadow were:

Hole Ladies Golf, June 2007 The 9-Hole Lady Golfers held their HCP Tournament on the 17th, using a Flag Tournament format for the event. The winners were: Barbara Clark 3rd place, Catsue Pipkin 2nd place, Mary Gene Roberts, 1st place. (Left side below: left to right) On Tuesday the 22nd, 8 ladies played in Guests Day at Oak Ridge Country Club. The winners were: Carol Tuttle 1st low net, Betty Rakestraw 2nd low net. (Right side below: left to right.) A fun event for the 9-Hole golfing group is the Guys 'N Dolls, held May 31st. The 9-Hole Guys 'N Dolls Guest’s Day (5/31) Winners. Great fun and excellent lunch buffet.
