Memorandum
As most of you have noticed our golf course has taken
quite a bit of abuse over the winter months.
Our
maintenance staff is working hard to get the course in
shape and get all the spring projects completed. One of
the most obvious things is the divots in all our
fairways. With the permission of our golf professional
and our course superintendent I am trying to organize a
group of volunteers to donate time to work and fill our
divots. With the grass coming in this is an ideal time
to accomplish this task.
The course is closed for play on
April
10, 2008
due to work on our
greens. We would like to begin to work on this project
at
4
PM
that afternoon and work
for at least 3 hours. The
number of volunteers will determine how much we can get
done in that time frame.
If you are interested in volunteering some
time, please call the pro shop to
sign up. (We need to have some idea as to the
number of people to be able to have sand and equipment
available.) If you cannot volunteer the full three
hours, please sign up for the time you can work.
If we can get this done, I feel our course
will be much more playable and continue to be one of the
best in the area.
If you have any questions or need to know
more please call me @ 865-603-2596.
