The free DePalmer Family (below left) tennis clinic was
held on Saturday, April 27, 2004, with over 85 players attending. Over 40
Junior Tennis players were in attendance (below right).

Chris Woodruff (below left) a former Vol who
once achieved a No.29 singles ranking on the ATP Tour, made a special
guest appearance and conducted an exhibition with Rhyne Williams (below
right), son of Michelle DePalmer Williams and ranked No. 3 in the nation in boys' 12 and
under.

The clinic is being sponsored by
Prince. Demo rackets and T-shirts will be given away. Famed
tennis teaching pro Nick Bollettierri is donating one free week at the IMG
Academy (formerly Bollettierri's Academy) in Bradenton, Fla. -- a
value of at least $1,000. Green Meadows has four
hard courts and two clay courts within eyesight of the Smokey
Mountains. In 1999, the club spent $1.5 million to renovate the
tennis courts and swimming pool.
"It's very scenic and a nice family atmosphere," said
DePalmer Jr., who has taught not only Becker and Woodruff but Justin
Gimelstob, Mark Philippoussis and Anna Kournikova.
Hunter Beal was the winner of the week at the IMG Academy in Bradenton,
Fla, compliments of teaching tennis pro Nick Bollettierri. Nick
Wood was the winner of a week tennis clinic at the University of Tennessee
this summer.
